Bouquet Rouge

“Bouquet Rouge” is now in a private art collection in Atlanta GA.

I seldom paint figurative art, yet I can and when I got this window screen, right away it inspired me to paint a bouquet of Oriental Poppies like the one in the gardens of Monet in Giverny, Normandie.
Symbolically, I wanted to represent nature trying to free itself from the maltreatment mankind has on nature.
