Everywhere I look, the oscillations of life captivate me, hopefully, through my work they fascinate you too
Born in Paris France, Veronique Ivanovic always knew she wanted to be an artist especially after taking for two years Sunday morning classes at l’École des Arts et Métiers Paris, France. She has lived in London England and New York City, she now lives in Atlanta Georgia, USA.
Besides creating art, she has been a professor/interpreter of French at Georgia State University (GSU), Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech), as well as the Alliance Française, AJC, Delta Airlines, Cox enterprises, the Center for Disease Control (CDC)…
Veronique started painting, drawing, and taking photographs as a child. In her artistic creations, she seeks refuge from a difficult childhood, as well as the oscillations of life.
She favors acrylics for her art and has for her generation, been a vanguard in recycling discarded materials for creating.
She thinks giving lifeless items a second chance at life, may help ameliorate the sustainability issues, humanity has bequeathed itself.
Having her camera with her everywhere she goes, she takes pictures of what her instant awareness dictates to her at that very moment. Because of her Ying-Yang personality type, she cannot remain in one particular style; this brings the richness of the diversity of her abundant body of work.
An avid world traveler, she is passionate about others’ cultures. Some of her series reflect this overall curiosity and tolerance.
Her art is tender, eloquent, provocative, and painful at times, mirroring the many stratum of her life. Her desire is to inspire and touch people who see and look at her art.

Partout où je regarde, les oscillations de la vie me bouleversent, j’espère que leur illustration par mon art vous interpellera
Née à Paris, France, Veronique Ivanovic a toujours su qu’elle voulait être artiste, surtout après avoir suivi pendant deux ans les cours du dimanche matin à l’École des Arts et Métiers de Paris. Elle a vécu à Londres en Angleterre et à New York, elle vit maintenant à Atlanta aux États-Unis.
Outre la création artistique, elle a été professeur/interprète de français à l’Université d’État de Géorgie (GSU), au Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech), ainsi qu’à l’Alliance Française, à Atlanta Journal and Constitution (AJC), à Delta Airlines, aux entreprises Cox, au Center for Diseases Control (CDC)…
La pulsion artistique (peinture, dessin, sculpture et photographie) de Veronique commença à un très jeune âge, exutoire non seulement d’une jeunesse difficile mais aussi des oscillations de la vie.
Elle privilégie la peinture acrylique pour son art, et, pour sa génération, est un précurseur de créations à partir de matériaux recyclés ou trouvés, car pour elle, donner aux choses rejetées une seconde chance de vie, contribue à réduire l’empreinte carbone que l’humanité ne cesse d’aggraver.
Par ailleurs, toujours équipée d’un appareil photographique, elle capture des images de ce que sa conscience instantanée lui dicte à tout moment.
En raison de son type de personnalité Ying Yang, elle ne peut pas se cantonner à un style particulier. Et cela est justement la riche diversité de son œuvre abondante.
Voyageuse avide de découvertes, elle est attirée par la culture des autres. Certaines de ses séries reflètent cette curiosité et cette tolérance globales.
Son art est tendre, éloquent, provocateur et parfois douloureux, reflétant les multiples dimensions de sa vie. Son désir est d’inspirer et de toucher les gens qui voient et regardent son art.
Ses oeuvres font partie de nombreuses collections privées.
