Because of the great distance between the USA and Europe and the impossibility to go visit the sick and the elderly, family and longtime time friends, during COVID-19 the emotional, mental and physical vulnerability of life was heightened to being nearly unbearable.
Numerous and quotidian texts, calls and face time to reassure those in need here and in Europe were a constant painful stress…
