As slates fell off my roof in the wind, I picked them up of the ground, wanting to save them!
Slate a fine-grained, foliated, homogeneous metamorphic rock derived from an original shale, a typeof sedimentary rock composed of clay or volcanic ash through low-grade regional metamorphism. It is the finest grained foliated metamorphic rock.
On smaller pieces of slates, the few last squeezes of my paint tubes…I am happy! Very low Carbon Foot print!
